Roles & Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, and Big Data Engineering/Processing
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT Design and Processes
• Expertise in database and data warehouse modeling
• Knowledge of machine learning models and cloud-based data engineering
• Proficiency in API development for application integration
• Understanding of the software development life cycle, considering Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Transferring both organized and unstructured data from the source to a new physical Data Model, establishing procedures, and determining necessary transformations
• Collaborating with data scientists to develop data imputation techniques, enhance the efficiency of big data and machine learning systems, and implement strategies for data cleaning and preparation for analysis

Required Skills:

• Utilization of the Google Cloud tech stack for big data engineering and processing, including Big Query, Big Table, Cloud Functions, Spark, and Cloud Storage, etc.
• Knowledge of cloud data engineering on GCP, AWS, and AZURE is advantageous Conceptual understanding of ETL/ELT Design and Process (Apache Ni-Fi and Snowflake are pluses)
• Proficiency in Algorithms and Data Structures (knowing how to utilize data structures appropriately and incorporate them into standard algorithms)
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (Databases like BQ, Object Store like GCS, and Kubernetes)
• Strong database knowledge, including SQL and NoSQL (Oracle, MSSQL, etc.) Programming skills in Java, Python, etc.
• Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving abilities; effective communication skills
