The advertising monetization sector at PhonePe is responsible for developing and capitalizing on growth solutions for marketers within consumer-oriented ecosystems. PhonePe has successfully cultivated a substantial and actively engaged user base exceeding 500 million over the past six years. Offering services in the fintech sector allows PhonePe to efficiently address the needs of both consumers and advertisers. The team is tasked with generating direct bottom-line advertising revenue through platform monetization.
The primary key performance indicator (KPI) focuses on the absolute revenue derived from agencies aligned with the candidate.
Job Description & Responsibilities:-
- Open and expand agency business to capture larger shares within the marketing budgets of major marketing agencies in India
- Establish robust relationships with key stakeholders, including Commercial teams, Digital leads, and Media planners within Agency-region-specific teams.
- Foster strong one-on-one connections with agency personnel, gaining insights into spending patterns across objectives, and channels, and identifying potential for PhonePe Ads.
- Increase awareness of PhonePe Ads offerings within agencies through roadshows, workshops, and in-depth account discussions.
- Achieve revenue targets by implementing rigorous business development strategies, incorporating feedback loops to assess outcomes, and exploring additional business opportunities.
- Conduct outbound sales, employing assertive strategies, to penetrate new accounts and establish deeper connections in new business lines.
- Collaborate closely with agencies to ensure a consistent influx of campaign briefs from key accounts and various industries, aiming for a larger share of the spending within the Agency.
- The advertising monetization vertical at PhonePe is dedicated to building and monetizing growth solutions for marketers across consumer-facing ecosystems
