Job Description -

  • Overall responsibility for designing and developing wired or wireless networking systems and solutions.
  • Integration of software, firmware, board, and silicon/SoC components with a focus on meeting customer requirements and working within implementation limitations throughout the systems lifecycle.
  • Systems architecture and definition, translating business opportunities into use cases, and developing product specifications for required hardware and software.
  • Leadership in the design, analysis, and implementation of component-level choices across the networking stack, considering performance, features, and cost factors.
  • Evaluation of various parameters such as latency, bandwidth, error rate, protocol acceleration, power, form factor, and manageability.
  • Integration of applicable standards into solutions for networking products, covering APIs, protocols, form factors, and interconnects.
  • Definition of systems implementation and integration approach to ensure optimal performance and reliability across both hardware and software systems.
  • Delivery of end-to-end technical solutions for solving customer problems, including deploying solutions, conducting benchmark tests, and preparing documentation.
  • Collaboration with other teams to analyze next-generation requirements and opportunities, with potential influence and guidance on research and academic collaboration in the field of network systems and solutions.
  • Involvement in proof of concept and solutions beyond current industry approaches.

  • Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer and information technology, engineering, or a related field

Qualifications:
  1. 10+ years of experience in the development of Ethernet/networking IP
  2. Architecture and microarchitecture experience with data center network products
  3. Strong knowledge of network hardware, software, and protocols
  4. Authoring Functional Specifications
  5. Schematic Capture (both flat and hierarchical)
  6. Collaborating with internal teams to conduct signal integrity simulations on both power and datapath signals
  7. Specifying PCB stack-up and fabrication details in collaboration with various customers.
