G-P Work from Home Jobs About the Position: Finance Associate

As a Finance Associate at G-P, you will have the exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic company and a fast-growing finance and accounting department. The finance team is a key player in our success, from ensuring timely and compliant employee payments to preparing financial statements for our board of directors and executives. You will be involved in day-to-day accounting, assisting with the month-end close, and managing accounting across multiple countries.

G-P Work from Home Jobs Role and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across multiple entities in various countries and jurisdictions.
• Prepare month-end reconciliations, including but not limited to cash, accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, payroll liabilities, and fixed assets.
• Assist the finance team with various projects, such as task automation, financial statement audits, and control/process improvements.
• Collaborate with the operations and billing department to ensure timely and accurate customer-related billing matters.
• Communicate with department leads to identify potential accruals and accounting issues.
• Support Payroll, Treasury, Travel & Expense (T&E), and Accounts Payable functions as needed.
• Utilize our world-class ERP system to enter journal entries as required.
• Manage the entry of daily cash activity into the accounting system.
• Prepare US GAAP journal entries in accounts payable, prepaid expenses, accruals, and payroll liabilities, including identifying differences from statutory accounting guidance.
• Ensure accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed in local compliance and US GAAP.
• Coordinate with operations and external payroll providers to ensure accurate completion of client payroll.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and tasks as required.
• Protect the company’s integrity by keeping client information confidential, complete, and accurate.

G-P Work from Home Jobs Required Skill set:

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Knowledge and experience in US GAAP.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to handle a high volume of time-sensitive materials.
• Strong attention to detail and critical self-review.
• Experience with foreign currency to USD conversion is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of work areas.
• Positive team player with a collaborative attitude.
• Ability to work remotely or from home office locations.
