HR - Piramal Pharma Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Piramal Pharma Solutions in Pithampur. The incumbent will have overall responsibility for managing personnel, including their evaluation, development, recruitment, wage and salary administration, and ensuring adherence to legal compliances for the site. As a strategic partner, you will play a key role in creating a competent and engaged workforce through various HR initiatives and driving business success through effective manpower acquisition and retention.
Key Stakeholders:
- Internal: Plant Leadership Team, Function Heads, Support Services Heads, and all Management Staff
- External: Vendors, Statutory Agencies, Government Departments, and HR Consultants
Reporting Structure:
- Functional Reporting: General Manager HR, India Sites & Employee Relations COE Head
- Administrative Reporting: Site Head

HR - Piramal Pharma Experience and Qualifications:
- 15-20 years of experience as Plant HR in a medium or large manufacturing unit.
- Expertise in employee and labor relations, with exposure to a unionized environment and knowledge of labor laws and amendments.
- Experience in union management, large-scale recruitment, diversity initiatives at plants, and cultural transformation.
- Proficiency in HR management and compliance with labor laws.
- Postgraduate degree in HR/IR/Personnel Management from a reputed institute.
HR - Piramal Pharma Core Competencies:

- Leadership and team-building abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and the new labor codes.
- Ability to manage multiple labor unions, contract labor management teams, and senior leadership.

- Assertiveness in taking strong legal stands when needed.
- High levels of ethics, ownership, and accountability.
HR - Piramal Pharma Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee manpower planning, recruitment, selection, human resources development, wage and salary administration, discipline, compliance with labor laws and regulations, performance appraisal, rule formulation, career progression, medical, and employee welfare.
- Ensure proper administration by providing security and other support services.
- Manage timely deployment and development of manpower in line with business and individual needs.
- Oversee the goal-setting process and assessment of Key Result Areas (KRAs) for the workforce to ensure a fair and transparent evaluation system.
- Conduct various employee engagement initiatives and interventions.
- Lead the Talent Review process and implement leadership development plans.
- Develop and implement Succession Planning for all critical roles.
- Foster an open and transparent work environment to create a motivated workforce.
- Ensure legal compliance with various acts and liaise with legal entities to maintain smooth operations at the site.
- Maintain SOPs and ensure adherence to regulatory body/customer inspections.
- Monitor the departmental budget and make necessary adjustments to align with OPEX.
- Establish a strong review mechanism to ensure zero non-compliance in HR processes and policy audits, including GMP.
- Support administrative functions including security, canteen, transportation, and housekeeping.
- Collaborate with the site DICO (Data Integrity Compliance Officer) to ensure compliance with data integrity awareness.
- Support EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) activities as required.
